Due to the Weather Forecast for the weekend The Minety Beer & Cider Festival has gone under cover with a very large Marquee. To keep all dry!!!

This is a free event to enter.  The only costs are £3.00 for your Festival glass and £3.00 per pint or £1.50 a half.  The Festival bar will be featuring over 40 beers & ciders beers from all over the Wiltshire area.

Latest News – posted 5th September

I recently wrote to to ask if anyone could help out at the beer festival.  So far this year the response has been very poor.

Please can you consider giving an hour or two of your time to help this event run smoothly?  We are particularly short of help to serve beers after 9pm on both Friday and Saturday nights.

If you can help at all please let me know.

Thankyou

Hello everyone
As you are probably aware the beer festival will soon be upon us once again.  And once again I am asking you for your help!
In order for the festival to run smoothly we need lots of help.
Can you give any time at all?  You do not have to commit to a three hour slot – just one hour would be very much appreciated.  But I am asking you to commit to a time that you are willing to do.  Turning up and offering to help on the day is great – but I do need to know that we have all areas covered so I would be very grateful if you could let me know in advance what you can do.
The festival will run over three days as usual, and we need help for Friday evening (8th Sept), Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday from lunchtime for a few hours.
Please can you let me know as soon as possible if you are able to give an hour or two of your time during the weekend.
If you have wives/husbands/sons/daughters/friends who might be able to to help out please, please let me know.  We just ask that all helpers are over 18.
Thankyou
Tina McAllister

It looks as if we are hosting the site for the 2017 festival.  As soon as we have more information we will post it here and on the Facebook page

Well, that’s the 5th Minety Beer and Cider Festival done and dusted. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Minety Playing Fields, the Beer and Cider Festival has been a great success over the years and we are confident that this year’s was even better than before with a wide range of casked ales and ciders on offer alongside the normal range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available at the bar in the club house.  The Prosecco bar was a great success and, despite the poor weather during the early part of Saturday, the whole even was a great success.

Many thanks to all involved in the arrangements for such a successful Festival.
